Recommended Age
The recommended age for ScareMeNots is 3 to 9 years. The younger kids in this age range love to snuggle and cuddle with their ScareMeNot and we have heard that many of them travel with their owner throughout the day. We have also found that older kids, ages 10 to 15, think they are cute and cool looking. Nowadays what kid doesn't have a large collection of stuffed creatures in their room and a ScareMeNot, with its unique looking features, makes a great addition to any collection. (return to top)

Safety Information
The ScareMeNot line of products has been fully tested and meets or exceeds all current toy safety regulations mandated by the federal government. We also comply with all aspects of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008, which dictates lead and phthalates levels out to the year 2011. Our products contain no lead or phthalates and meet or exceed all standardized tests related to flammability and cleanliness of our product and stuffing materials. Our testing facilities are recognized and accredited by the United States government. (return to top)

Free Shipping
On orders of two or more characters you have the option to choose free shipping upon checkout. Free shipping is only provided for destinations within the continental United States and applies only to standard shipping, priority or overnight shipping is not covered by this offer. Innovative Toys will ship your order using either UPS, FedEx or the USPS and will provide tracking information via email. Reserving an Item
To reserve an item, customers must enter an email address in order to receive an “email alert” indicating your items have arrived at our warehouse. Reserving a item does not place an indefinite hold on the item or guarantee the item will be available. However, customers who reserve items will be given first notification and first priority when items arrive. Due to high demand for these items, we encourage you to visit the SHOP page as soon as you receive your email alert and place your order. (return to top)

Forms of Payment
For your convienience, you can pay for your purchases with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or, if you have one, you can use your PayPal account. At this time we do not accept COD payments, purchase orders or orders placed by FAX. When you use your credit card, please provide your credit card billing address, if different from the shipping address, and daytime/evening phone numbers. If the billing address you give us does not match the one that is on file at the financial institution, or if authorization is not given for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the order without notification. ScareMeNot.com cannot work out credit card problems with your financial institution; you must settle problems with them and reorder once the problem is resolved. (return to top)

Account Credits
In the unlikely event that your account requires a credit, rest assured that it will be refunded promptly. The method used to credit your account will be the same method you used when you placed the order. For example, if the order was paid by credit card, we will credit your credit card account. Backorders
It is highly unlikely that your desired products will not be shipped promptly because they are on backorder. However, you will be notified by email if your order cannot be shipped within a week of the time you place it. (return to top)

Order Changes
Since we begin processing your order immediately after we receive it, changes are usually not possible. However, if you have recently placed an order with us and would like to change it please contact us via email at support@scaremenot.com (return to top)

Cancellations
You can cancel your order any time prior to shipment. Orders are usually shipped within 24 to 48 hours after placement. You can cancel your order by clicking here or by clicking the "Cancel My Order" button on the My Account page. If, for some reason, you do not have access to our site you can cancel your order by sending an email to support@scaremenot.com and indicate that you wish to cancel your order. Returns & Defective Merchandise
When you receive your order, always keep the paperwork that is included with it in case you wish to return an item. You should also save any emails you receive about you order, as they may provide important information. A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. You can request an RMA online by clicking here, or by clicking the "Request an RMA" button on the My Account page. Returns can only be requested within 30 days of the product shipment date and shipping costs will not be refunded. Returned items must be in their original packaging and in new condition, or they will be rejected and sent back to you. (return to top)

Shipping Damage
If a shipment arrives at your door with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact us using the RMA request form and select "Shipping Damage" as the RMA type. You can access the RMA request form here, or by clicking the "Request an RMA" button on the My Account page. If, for some reason, you do not have access to our site you can send an email to support@scaremenot.com and indicate that you received damaged merchandise. Please remember to include your order number in the subject or text of the email. If you receive damaged merchandise, please save all packaging material and paperwork. If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return. (return to top)

Product Changes
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site are subject to change without notice. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies. When you place your order with us, you agree to the price and terms indicated on our Web site. Price differences related to future or past prices in our store are not refundable. (return to top)
